DIU Skyward recently hosted its Project Initiation Program to present the upcoming Inquilab 2.0 rocket launch. The team shared design concepts, calculations, and future plans with university leadership and faculty, highlighting months of collaborative effort. Despite challenges and nerves, the event marked a proud milestone—transforming a simple idea into a tangible project. With the launch scheduled for August, the initiative reflects not only scientific progress but also the determination and teamwork driving DIU Skyward’s mission to reach new heights.

Not every journey begins with assurance. At times, it begins with merely a basic conviction. As learners, we sometimes lack sufficient opportunities or resources. Nevertheless, we strive to accomplish something significant. This conviction propels us onward, even when all appears unclear. Bearing this in mind, DIU Skyward coordinated their 'Project Initiation Program' as a move toward their upcoming objective—the launch of their second rocket, Inquilab 2.0. During the event, the team showcased their project to the Dean, Pro-VC, Department Head, Advisor, and various faculty members. They discussed the fundamental idea of the rocket, its structure, certain calculations, and their upcoming projects. Honestly, it wasn't solely about displaying slides. It was a chance to display what they had been developing over the last few months. It was not simple to be there and showcase everything. At times, it seemed somewhat stressful. There was anxiety, but also enthusiasm. Nonetheless, it was a moment of pride. What began as a modest concept is now being presented as an actual project. The team collaboration is what made this event unique. Everyone gave their all and played a part in various ways. It truly emphasized the collaborative effort involved in the project. Ultimately, it wasn't focused on personal successes. Instead, it focused on collaborating and developing as a group. The team is set to launch Inquilab 2.0 in August. There remains much to accomplish, and honestly, numerous challenges lie ahead. However, they are progressing gradually. Building a rocket isn’t just a science. It’s also a mindset. Just as a rocket needs enough power to take off, we need enough determination to overcome our own doubts. Maybe that’s the real purpose of this journey—not just to reach the sky, but to keep trying no matter what.
